Design Notes
The endolysin gene was synthesized by GenScript to optimize codons and avoid illegal sites. The promotor and terminator were chosen for controllable expression, because the endolysin may be toxic in high copy number.

The endolysin gene is from bacteriophage XP15. An E. coli promoter and terminator were used.
